"Not stated" means not stated. It is not a polite no. Where their pages did not address something, we have left it unknown rather than assuming an absence.

What QuoteChecker.ai does better

Three things, and they are not small:

It is free to try, properly. Three audits every 30 days with no account and no card. There is no equivalent free path into our estimator.
It has benchmark data and we do not. Its contractor page cites labour and materials pricing for "30+ U.S. metro areas," and scores a quote against them. We hold no pricing database at all — our unpriced lines are estimates for your ZIP code, labelled as estimates. If what you want is "is this number normal for my city," that is their question, not ours.
It works on a quote you already hold, in minutes, with no effort from you. Ours asks you to photograph your space and your products. That is more work, and for some people the audit is simply the right amount of tool.

What MyRemodelCalculator does that it does not

It prices your estimate from your own product selections. You photograph the price tag on the tile, the vanity, the flooring you actually chose, and that price goes on the line. The result is not "typical for your metro" — it is your price, at your store, on the day you were standing there. A benchmark cannot do this, because a benchmark is by definition somebody else's average.

An honest note on accuracy claims

We do not publish an accuracy percentage, and we would treat any tool's single accuracy figure with care — including a competitor's. That is the right kind of sentence, and it is the same position we take about our own output.
